From 25 August, the Indie Arena Booth will return as a digital event. We have all the info on participation, time period and the games that will be featured.
The summer of games continues: gamescom 2021 will take place as a purely digital event at the end of August. But that doesn’t mean you have to completely forgo social interaction with other trade fair visitors: The Indie Arena Booth will once again become a kind of trade fair MMO in which you can play along.
How the Indie Arena Booth works
When? The Summercamp of Doom event will run from 25 to 29 August 2021.
How does it work? Much like last year, you can create an avatar, walk through the virtual knife rooms, watch live streams and complete quests. There will also be lots of demos for you to try out. Participation is free of charge. You can find out more at the official website.
What? The line-up of the Indie Booth Arena consists of more than 120 big and unknown indie titles. The trailer shows you some of them:

The Legend of Tianding: Action-packed sidescroller revolving around a Taiwanese folk hero.
Behind the Frame: Artistic and calm puzzle game that is visually reminiscent of the Ghibli films.
Roboquest: The co-op action game has been in Early Access since August 2020.
Away: The Survival Series: A playable nature documentary in which you control a cute gliding boomer through the Australian wilderness.
Death Trash: Weird and rather dark cyberpunk action role-playing game reminiscent of the flair of the old Fallouts.
Batora: Lost Haven: Action role-playing game in which you have to balance mental and physical abilities.
