In April 2024, Amazon will drop the bombs. This, of course, means the Fallout series. Now the release date for the game adaptation of the Westworld makers is known

Fallout fans take note: On April 12, 2024, there is a good reason to disappear in the bunker. On this date, the Fallout series from the Westworld makers will launch on Amazon Prime Video. The release of the game adaptation was just revealed, we provide you with an overview.

Release: when exactly does the Fallout series start?

On April 12, 2024 the Fallout series will launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Since Amazon produces Fallout itself, the TV series will not be available on other streaming services such as Netflix or Disney Plus and Co.

Will all episodes be released at once? Probably not. Amazon usually releases new episodes on a weekly basis – Fallout will be no exception.

When exactly will Fallout launch? A specific time for the launch of Fallout is currently unknown.

Story: What is the Fallout series about?

Of course, the Fallout series will take place in the post-apocalyptic world of video games. But what exactly it’s about remains to be seen at the moment: Currently, we don’t know any details about the plot, characters, or when the Amazon series will join the Fallout lore.

What we can say with certainty, though: The Fallout series won’t be rehashing a familiar storyline from the games, but doing its own thing. It will fit into the Fallout universe and be subject to its rules. With the TV production, the creators have aimed to create something of their own.

Behind the scenes: Who’s responsible for the Fallout series?

Fallout from Amazon is being made under the direction of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who were previously responsible for the excellent Westworld series . Nolan also collaborated on the scripts for Interstellar, The Dark Knight and Prestige. Lisa Joy, in turn, is known for Pushing Daisies or Burn Notice.

For this, the two are working with Bethesda, while Todd Howard and James Altman even serve as executive producers. Also involved as writers and co-showrunners are Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) and Graham Wagner (The Office, Silicon Valley).
