Farming Simulator 22 will offer some new content with the upcoming DLC for fans. In addition, a Platinum Edition has been announced for all newcomers.
Like its predecessor LS19, Farming Simulator 22 will now also receive a Platinum Edition. At the same time, a corresponding add-on will be released for all those who already own the farmer game. You can read more about what is included in which version below.
What is included in the new addon?
The DLC called Platinum Expansion contains the following new features:
- In addition to other new brands such as Impex or Koller, the Volvo Group is also freshly included. You can watch the trailer above;
- In total there are 40 new vehicles and machines included, making a total of over 500 in LS 22.
- The new map Silverrun Forest is inspired by the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
- There will be new gameplay mechanics and production chains that focus mainly on forestry thanks to the heavily forested map. You can plant new tree species, build a boat and deliver logs.

What’s behind the Platinum Edition?
If you don’t already own Farming Simulator 22, you can get the base game including the Platinum Expansion with the Platinum Edition. This means you have access to over 500 machines and tools from over 100 manufacturers.
Release and price of Platinum Expansion and Edition
Both the Platinum Expansion and the Platinum Edition will be on sale from 15 November. The edition, i.e. the base game plus new content, costs 40 euros. The add-on alone is available for 20 euros. If you own the Year 1 Season Pass, however, the Platinum Expansion is included at no additional cost.
