DC Comics unites esports organisation FaZe Clan and the Batman franchise in a limited crossover issue.
The US esports organisation FaZe Clan makes its comic book debut on 24 September – under no less a publisher than the world-famous DC Comics. Among other superheroes in the universe, FaZe members will be seen with Batman, whose monthly series includes the crossover.
Illustrator of the collaboration is Scot Eaton, who has worked on Batman and Robin Eternal, Aquaman and Superman, among others. Writer Josh Trujillo will write the comic. He is already known for his past works for both DC and Marvel.

The partnership between FaZe Clan and DC Comics is not only producing the planned comic. A merch line by FaZe Clan to match the Batman design is also scheduled for release on September 24.
“This collaboration is extremely special to us as we all grew up with Batman and DC,” FaZe Clan owner Nordan “FaZe Rain” Shat commented on the collaboration. “To see ourselves as comic book characters is a dream come true.”
For FaZe Clan, this is not the first partnership the organisation has surprised its community with. Most recently, the esports giant worked with English football champions Manchester City on exclusive merchandise and content. A crossover with McDonald’s in August also produced content involving several of the FaZe Clan influencers and stars.
