Spine, a stylish mix of cyberpunk game and action movie, was first announced in November 2023. GlobalESportNews editor Kevin spoke to the developers at the time and drew a euphoric conclusion!

Now, for the first time, real gameplay can be seen by the public: On a rooftop against a dystopian sci-fi backdrop, the heroine clears numerous enemies out of the way with spectacular gun-fu moves.

She combines punches, grabs, throws and finishing moves with guns. The whole thing is like a playable version of John Wick with a futuristic twist.

When Spine will be released is still unclear. The single-player action game promises a gripping revenge story, a fluid melee combat system and cutting-edge graphics thanks to Unreal Engine 5.

The developers themselves describe the game with a question: What would it be like to be at the epicenter of an action movie, kicking enemies out of your hand and fending off bullets with your trusty katana?
