Project L will have a duo game system which, according to game director Shaun Rivera, will function similarly to tag team wrestling.
One player controls their character in battle while their teammate waits to be substituted. This mechanic allows you to perform powerful combos or rush to your partner’s aid in a sticky moment.
In a match, you can use your character’s moves to help your partner.
In Project L, 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2 and even 1 vs. 2 match-ups will be possible. This means even if you play alone, you can control a tag team with two Champions
The YouTuber (Maximilian Dood) has one of the biggest fighting game channels on YouTube and was invited by Riot Games to test Project L.
