(Call of the Wild: The Angler at Epic Games)

The game comes from developer Expansive Worlds, who also developed the hunting simulation theHunter: Call of the Wild. The Angler is also designed to offer as real an experience of nature as possible – just while fishing.

In the open world, you search for the best fishing spots alone or with up to twelve players in co-op  You can move around on foot, by off-road vehicle or in boats.

Depending on what you want to catch, you have to put together your equipment accordingly You choose the best combination of rods, reels, lures, hooks, floats and jig heads to catch the fish of your choice

What is Invincible Presents: Atom Eve?

Genre: Visual Novel – Release: November 14, 2023 – Developer: Terrible Posture Games

(Invincible Presents: Atom Eve by Epic Games )

This is a video game adaptation of the Amazon series Invincible. The visual novel tells the story of the heroine Atom Eve and sticks to the style and form of the original comic book.

The story is about the balancing act between being a superhero and life as a teenager. Over the course of the game you make decisionsthat influence your relationships with friends and family, but also change the outcome of the story.

In turn-based battles as a superhero, you must of course also take down villains. The skills you use to do this are learned via a Talent Tree However, you can also learn skills that open up new dialog options for you.

A fishing simulation and a visual novel are a couple of genres that Epic Games is fond of this week. If there’s nothing for you, you might find what you’re looking for in the Steam releases we’ve linked above. Will you be picking up the two free games and playing them? Let us know in the comments.
