The Epic Store is once again giving away a game this week. This time, there’s plenty of online gaming fun to be had with the Destiny 2 complete package

The North Pole is currently busy wrapping presents and loading them onto the sleigh, but Epic is quicker than Santa Claus and is handing out a new gift in the form of a game this Thursday, as it does every week. You can keep it permanently if you buy it within the next seven days

We’ll now tell you which free game is available in the Epic Store this time and what it’s all about. If you prefer to go straight to the store instead, you can simply follow this link:

Destiny 2: Legacy Collection

  • Genre: First-person shooter
  • Release: February 28, 2023
  • Action runs until: December 20 at 5 p.m.

The full package of multiplayer action awaits you with the Destiny 2: Legacy Collection. It not only includes the free main game of the shooter, but also the three usually paid expansions The Witch Queen, Beyond the Light and Fortress of Shadows. So there should be plenty of playtime over the holidays!

What Destiny 2 is all about is probably something most of you already know, but of course we want to catch everyone up: The online shooter combines PvP and PvE elements and is set in a large sci-fi universe. You create your own hero, choose one of three classes and throw yourself into the action – sometimes with, sometimes against other players.

Of course, this all gets a lot more complex as the game progresses, for example when you specialize your play style with one of the numerous subclasses or throw yourself into one of the challenging raids.

Can you do something with today’s game gift in the Epic Store or will you have to hope for next week? If you could send a personal wish list to Epic: Which games would be at the top of your list? What are your gaming plans for the holidays? Feel free to write your answers in the comments below:
