May has plenty of fresh free games in store for Amazon Prime subscribers. The nine titles include Fallout 3 and an excellent action adventure game
All that’s new in May, is a well-known saying in the German vernacular. And it’s true – at least for Amazon Prime subscribers. Because with the turn of the month, there’s a whole load of fresh free games for the Prime Gaming service
IYou can get a total of nine titles for free this month. Two of them stand out in our eyes. We briefly introduce you to the highlights, Fallout 3 and Tomb Raider (2013), and also show you the other free games that are new to Prime Gaming in our overview.
Highlight 1: Fallout 3
(Genre: Role-playing game – Developer: Bethesda Game Studios – Release: October 2008)
Fallout is currently on everyone’s lips thanks to the extremely successful Amazon series So what better time than now to explore post-apocalyptic America for yourself
The third part of the series transports you to the wasteland surrounding the former capital Washington D.C. As a resident of Vault 101, you must set out in search of your missing father. However, the Enclave gets in your way
Fallout 3 was the first three-dimensional installment in the series and the first series installment penned by Elder Scrolls creator Bethesda after Interplay’s departure. Thankfully, the new developers didn’t leave the old charm out in the (acid) rain, but instead breathed new life into the brutal Fallout world in a humorous and skillful way.

Highlight 2: Tomb Raider (2013): Game of the Year Edition
(Genre: Action-Adventure – Developer: Crystal Dynamics – Release: March 2013)
Although not post-apocalyptic, our second highlight of the month is no less dangerous. In the 2013 reboot of the well-known Tomb Raider series you slip into the skin of the still young and inexperienced archaeologist Lara Croft.
At the beginning of the game, Lara and her crew are shipwrecked on a seemingly uninhabited island in the Pacific. But as it soon turns out, they are not alone there, because the island is under an ancient and menacing cursethat has trapped everyone who has ever set foot on it. From then on, a merciless fight for survival begins
With the reboot, developer Crystal Dynamics wanted to tell the story of a Lara whose greatest adventures still lie ahead of her. The puzzles familiar from older parts of the series have been largely dispensed with – the reboot plays much more action-packed
We gave the visually great reboot an 85 at the time and found: classy staged
