No April Fool: This weekend there are again free games for you. Including: Total War: Warhammer and three other titles.
Congratulations! You’ve made it through another exhausting week. As a reward, you can get some free games on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Highlight of the Week: Total War: Warhammer
What is Total War: Warhammer all about? All of you are probably familiar with the Total War series, which always offers strategy on an epic scale. Here you take on the role of a nation, raise huge armies and conquer the cities of your enemies in monumental real-time battles.
TW: Warhammer refines this proven formula with a crossover with the popular fantasy brand: this means not only that you can start the campaign as Bretons, Empire, Dwarves, Vampire Lords and Greenskins, but also that you can draw on thematically appropriate game mechanics.
For the first time in a Total War game, mages, shamans and other spellcasters have been introduced who unleash powerful spells to rain down flames and ice on your enemies. Particularly powerful spells like the Wind of Death can even take out hundreds of units in one fell swoop.
You can also add giant mythical beasts like gryphons or dragons to your army and equip your leaders with legendary items from Warhammer lore.
Note: Should you secure the game from Epic, you will not be able to combine it with other games in the trilogy on other platforms to play the massive Mortal Empires campaign.
More Free Games
City of Brass: A first-person action roguelite set in the world of One Thousand and One Nights. Use your scimitar to cut the heads off nasty undead like skeletons, djinns and ghosts, or give the riffraff a good crack with your whip. You can pick up the game and keep it forever.
Collection free of charge until: 8 April 2022, 5 p.m.
Terratech: A cool sandbox game where you explore the open world with a self-built vehicle. Hundreds of individual parts such as wheels, armour and weapons are available to make it especially cool.
But it’s not all about fighting: instead of death machines, you can also raise factories and collect resources, and set up self-designed watchtowers to defend them from roaming NPC bots.
Free to play until: 6 April 2022
You Suck At Parking: A creative mix of skill and racing game where your parking skills are more important than your driving style. The game hasn’t been released yet, but you can get a beta key via the link, which you can use to drive around until 3 April. The key will also entitle you to participate in all future Alphas.
Free to play until: 3 April 2022
And even more free games
If you are an Amazon Prime customer, you can once again secure a whole bunch of free games permanently this month. Among other things: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the GOTY Edition.
