Competing against movie star Megan Fox in Mortal Kombat? No problem: These celebs like to spend their free time in front of the PC or console.

In the colourful world of video games, there is a suitable title for everyone. Whether young or old, student or world star, there are lots of different people on the servers. Who knows, maybe you’ve flattened your favourite actor in Call of Duty without realising it.

We’ve put together a list of seven celebrities who like to play a game in their spare time.

Vin Diesel: Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel likes to throw himself into Azeroth for a few raids. So he often played World of Warcraft with his then film colleague Paul Walker after shoots. He also went to WoW several times with wrestler Ronda Rousey to loot and level. His passion for video games is even so great that he founded the development studio Tigon Studios in 2002. However, that closed down again in 2013. Image: Vin Diesel Instagram

Ronda Rousey: The 34-year-old martial artist isn’t just available for WoW matches. As the official voice of Sonya Blade, Rousey is naturally also interested in the fighting game Mortal Kombat. Her greatest interest, however, seems to belong to the Pokémon franchise. She used to be a moderator of a Pokémon forum, for example, and even held her gender-reveal party in the theme around the digital monsters. Image: flickr yumizakofashion.

Megan Fox: Who knows, maybe Rousey has already played a few matches of Mortal Kombat against Megan Fox. The actress recently announced she would spend a lot of time playing the game. According to her own statements, she would completely destroy her partner Machine Gun Kelly in it. She also already participated in a Celebrity Fortnite tournament and apparently used to play Halo a lot. Photo: Megan Fox Instagram.

Mila Kunis: Meg Griffin’s voice actress Mila Kunis also used to be in World of Warcraft a lot. She even had two characters in the game, as she was eventually recognised from her voice in one. Her guild members of the second character, however, did not know that the fellow player was the world star. In the meantime, Kunis was also very invested in the mobile game FarmVille. Sido: German rapper Sido is probably known to most Twitch viewers as a gaming fan. The 40-year-old likes to watch streams himself and has been in the fishing camp with the likes of Knossi. He prefers classics like James Bond: Golden Eye, Mario Kart or Tekken. His favourite game, he says, is Super Mario 3. Photo: Sven Mandel.

Snoop Dogg: US rapper Snoop Dogg is also very open about his hobby. The 49-year-old even has his own Twitch channel called Doggydogg20. On this channel, he recently streamed a few games of Madden NFL 21, but the sound was completely muted for the viewers. The next stream will surely be with sound again to underline the chill vibes. Deichkind: The German hip hop group Deichkind also has several gamers as members. As Tony revealed in an interview with Stern, the boys liked to gamble on the bus on tour more than 10 years ago. There was a console there and, above all, a Tony Hawk game. Because one of the members really wanted to finish a level, the audience at a concert had to wait a little longer for the starting gun. The CoD series and Battlefield is also popular among the musicians. Image: Wikimedia.
