Robbers, heroes and a fabled stone: (NACON) and Appeal Studios reveal exciting details about “Gangs of Sherwood,” the cooperative action-adventure, which will be available on 2. November 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (via the Epic Games Store and Steam).

The captivating storyline takes players back to the time of the last crusades, when King Richard of England discovered the mystical “Lionheart” stone. This stone gave the kingdom amazing technological advances and became a source of wealth and power. However, the power of the stone aroused greed, and eventually it fell into the hands of the tyrannical Sheriff of Nottingham, who used it to consolidate his rule and oppress the people.

Live your own Robin Hood story

In an epic uprising four iconic heroes from the legend of Robin Hoodteam up to fight tyranny. Players can take on the roles of Marian, the sheriff”s daughter and fearless assassin; Friar Tuck, a monk and healer; Little John, a mighty warrior with an iron grip; and Robin Hood, the famed archer from Locksley.

Gameplay offers a wide range of possibilities – each character has their own unique play style and a wide range of customizable abilities. As the game progresses, players can unlock new combos and abilities that allow for increasingly powerful and spectacular attacks. “Gangs of Sherwood” can be played solo, but was designed primarily as a co-op multiplayer experience for up to four players. Heroes can complement each other and use their individual strengths to defeat the Sheriff of Nottingham”s armies and free England from his oppression.
