All new announcements from the State of Play
Ghost of Yotei
After the success of Ghost of Tsushima on Playstation and most recently on PC, the sequel Ghost of Yotei has now been announced. This time, it is set in a new region in northern Japan, in what is now Hokkaido. The sequel also takes place about 300 years later and accordingly introduces a new main character, the Ronin Atsu.
What the story of Ghost of Yotei is about is not revealed by the developers in their trailer. In terms of gameplay, the aim is to follow the predecessor, but still introduce numerous improvements and innovations. The fact that the title is being developed exclusively for the more powerful PS5, while Ghost of Tsushima still ran on the PS4, should also help. The game is scheduled to be released in 2025, exclusively for the PS5.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
It’s hard to believe, but Horizon Zero Dawn is already over seven years old! Time for a remaster, thought Sony. So, from October 31, 2024, you can experience the first part of Aloy’s story with slicker graphics and a few other improvements.
The remaster will be released simultaneously for the PS5 and PC and will cost full price – however, owners of the original can upgrade for 10 euros.
