Sucker Punch is all over the place, fans are in a party mood – and with good reason. Because Ghost of Tsushima has now sold more than 8 million copies. Since its release, it has received almost exclusively good reviews, as the Accolades trailer also shows.

The epic open world title Ghost of Tsushima tells the story of the samurai Jin Sakai, who wants to free the island of Tsushima from the Mongol invasion. In doing so, he leaves the traditional paths of the samurai and enters the path of the spirit. In doing so, he acquires fighting styles that are rather untypical for the honourable samurai, such as executing assassinations from the shadows and handling throwing stars. During your liberation mission, you will not only explore a beautiful landscape, but also discover various subplots. You can also compose haikus, ponder in hot springs and pet foxes at shrines built in their honour during your travels.

Those who want to experience a special Japan feeling can get their hands on the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. This was released for the PlayStation in August last year. In addition to the island expansion Ikki receives some additional bonus content.

During the night, developer Sucker Punch announced that Ghost of Tsushima had cracked the 8 million mark. For this great success, the studio thanked its community on Twitter.
