In Giants Uprising you take a seat on the shoulder of a giant. With the Steam demo you can try out the curious game before its release.

Inverted game world: Instead of controlling a puny little human as usual, you turn the tables in Giants Uprising and take control of a giant as tall as a house. It’s an anti-Shadow of the Colossus, so to speak, in which you flatten human armies and break entire cities into manageable giant toothpicks.

The unusual new game from Polish developer Varsav Game Studios, known for Bee Simulator, will be released in Early Access on (Steam) on 2 November 2021. Giants Uprising is based on Unreal Engine 4.

To get an impression, you can already download and play a Steam demo. In it, you can play a complete mission that gives you a vivid cross-section of the game’s mechanics.

Keyword: watch: In the new release trailer, you can see gameplay from Giants Uprising:

How does Giants Uprising play?

First, the man Kielbasa (Polish for sausage) on the shoulder of the giant Rogbar (Polish for Rogbar) explains why the two disparate cronies roam the area together. So a cruel ruler put them in a gladiatorial arena, but Kielbasa and Rogbar made common cause and fled.

Now they leisurely wander to the man in charge to confront him. And flatten him. Along with his entire city and army. This is where the gameplay begins: First you cross a forest as Rogbar and destroy smaller buildings. You also pick up pieces of wood and stones to throw at your opponents.
