Godsworn takes you back to mythology, when pagan gods still ruled the land. Suddenly, however, Christian crusaders appear to enforce their own faith. You either play as the sun goddess Saule or the moon god Meness – or put an end to the Baltic deities as the archangel Michael. At the same time, you build cities to secure armies and loyal followers, while defending your population from enemies and mythical creatures.

Originally scheduled for release in 2023, the trailer now reveals a new Early Access date of March 28, 2024. You can also get a taste of the free demo version on Steam before Early Access. Our freelance author Gerald Weßel has already been able to get a first impression in his game presentation

Godsworn is the first project from the two-person development studio Thunderoak Interactive, which was founded in the Netherlands in 2021. The trailer might remind fans of classic real-time strategy games of titles such as Warcraft, Spellforce or Age of Mythology and could be a real insider tip in the genre. Have you already played the demo of Godsworn or does the video whet your appetite for it?
