Even though Gothic Classic will not be released until tomorrow for the Nintendo Switch, there is already a sale on the title. So if you still want to pre-order the title, you should grab it now

Well, how about a little time travel? 20 years have passed since the first release of Gothic. Even though a lot has happened in the gaming industry since then, many of the innovations and mechanics are based on this classic.

You’ll be able to experience this piece of gaming history for yourself the day after tomorrow, as Austrian publisher THQ Nordic releases a re-release for the Nintendo Switch under Gothic Classic.

Even before the release, you can save on Gothic Classic. The title is currently 20% off as part of a sale in the Nintendo eShop. If you are interested in other genres besides the RPG, you can check out other discounted titles.

In Gothic Classic, you take on the role of a nameless hero who is thrown into the colony due to unfortunate circumstances. This is a prison with a magical barrier, where the prisoners are supposed to mine ore for the royal war against the orcs. But when it comes to the rebellion, three factions crystallize, which now want to negotiate with the king for the ore.

How it all turns out and how you emerge unscathed from this dicey situation, you can experience from the 28 September itself.
