The debut trailer for Great Houses of Calderia offers the first glimpse of the complex new strategy game, which sees itself as a mix of Crusader Kings 3 and Game of Thrones. The aim is not only to manage a medieval dynasty, but also diplomatic relations, wars, resources and trade.
The video proves what personal implications can arise in the process: The ruler’s son is supposed to marry the daughter from another house in order to forge new power alliances, but is ambushed on his way and has to make some tough decisions. In the end, he does get to his destination, only to be poisoned at the court’s banquet table!
Great Houses of Calderia will be released between April and June 2022 via (Steam).
