The free-to-play multiplayer of Halo Infinite got off to a brilliant start, only to drive players away with slow progression and a lack of new content in the months that followed. Most recently, the game drew self-inflicted ridicule and scorn when a developer post on Reddit backfired.
Halo Infinite: Developer statement causes mockery and derision among fans
New content is finally coming soon. Season 2, titled “Lone Wolves”, is on the way and it holds the promise of fresh content. The first trailer lasts less than half a minute, but it should get you in the mood for the new season and if you look closely, you will also see some clips of previously unknown maps.
It is not yet known exactly how many new battlefields will find their way into the shooter. However, at least two locations are likely to be added, namely the arena map “Catalyst” and the big team battle map “Breaker”. Season 2 is also expected to deliver new game modes, time-limited events and a revised Battle Pass, which has also been the focus of criticism.
When does the fun begin? Season 2 of Halo Infinite will start on 3 May 2022.
