Can you complete the role-playing game without a companion, without resting, without shopping and without stealing? Yes, if your name is Luality and you’re not afraid of pain

The honor mode ofBaldur’s Gate 3is brutal.Bosses gain power, permatod lurks around every corner, every item needs to be used tactically and there is only one save point – no reloading if a dice roll goes wrong. Ouch

Nevertheless, numerous players have already conquered this highest level of difficulty. Even for the streamerLualitythe normal “Honor Run” was nowhere near challenging enough. So she quickly made life as difficult as possible for herselfHere are the additional special rules she set herself:

  • No companions, Tav is traveling alone
  • No rest, neither short nor long
  • No item purchase, no sale and no theft
  • Do not eat Mindflayer parasites
  • No respec, do not hire hirelings from Withers

Sounds impossible?Luality has just announced that she has successfully completed her run. Via live stream, of course. Here you can see the final moments (warning, spoilers for the final fight of Baldur’s Gate 3!):

Is it finally enough?Nothing there, Luality announced directly in the comments that she now wants to try an even more difficult run.Maybe she’ll control the game with her brainwaves next?

Who is Luality and why is she doing this?

The streamer has mainly been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 over the past few months and has acquired an enormous amount of knowledge about the role-playing game and how it works. That’s why she always managesspectacular maneuvers like this one:She uses a healing potion, a fire bolt and the Grimforge press to master a tough boss fight:

Before that, she had already let off steam inElden Ringand defeatedMalenia with a dance mat. Frustration seems to be a foreign word for Luality – we’re very excited to see what challenge she comes up with next.

How do you feel about such challenges? Do you enjoy deliberately making life difficult for yourself in certain games because the success tastes all the sweeter in the end? Or do you not do it to yourself, but enjoy watching others smash their heads through the wall?
