For a few days, Noita is available for under 8 euros. The game has extremely positive reviews on Steam, so don’t be put off by the visuals

Noita Noita is a terrific action hit if you like believably simulated destruction. Its motto: “Every single pixel is physically correctly simulated here.”

And yes, the pixel optics look like the hundredth dark Roguelike-Metroidvania at first. But don’t let that put you off – at least read on to find out for whom the game is definitely worth playing

Noita in the Steam Sale

How much does it cost right now? Noita is currently reduced by 60 percent and costs just under 8 euros instead of the usual 19 euros. (Here you can go directly to the store page).

How long is the offer valid? The discount on Steam is valid until Monday, April 15, 2024.

Where else can you buy Noita? You can also find the game on GOG in addition to Steam, but it’s not currently on sale there. You can also buy it (at the normal price) via Humble, where you can get a Steam key. A console version does not yet exist

What kind of game is this?

Noita is all about action and its physics of destruction and magic. You create your own magical abilities and then use them to fight your way through procedurally generated cave worlds that collapse spectacularly as you plow through them. Mostly because a powerful magic effect backfired after all…

The game claims to be quite difficult. So resistance to frustration is the order of the day! But as is usual in roguelikes, frequent death is part of the game principle anyway and you’ll carry on stronger afterwards. It is also important that you can adapt to the random circumstances in each round

Noita offers a lot of variety and has recently received a major update with more spell effects, new modifications, enemies, chemical reactions, boss battles and much more. As old saves are not compatible with this, perhaps this would be a good time for fans to start again? Steam reviews: With almost 58,000 user reviews, Noita has an “extremely positive” rating on Steam. 95 percent of all reviews recommend the game. Most praise the extremely extensive spell system, which lets you craft almost every conceivable effect – with all the positive and negative consequences.

And what about you? Do you already own Noita and have perhaps even sunk many hours into the roguelike? Or did you not like something about it and put it aside again? Feel free to write your experiences with the game in the comments, maybe that will tip the scales for the undecided.
