At the start of the Christmas season, Warner Bros. Games is stirring the advertising drum and releasing a new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy. Not much happens in this one, though. Instead, it shows you the beautiful locations of the game.
The weather is too bad to go outside? Then take a walk in the latest trailer of Hogwarts Legacy. If you thought the in-game graphics of the magical adventure were good until now, this video will knock your socks off. Take a look at the tranquil cottages of Hogsmeade, walk through the forest and venture into the castle grounds as a new day gradually dawns. This tour is rounded off by minimalist nature sounds such as birdsong or the rustling of autumn leaves. But before we talk too much about it, you’d better see for yourselves:
Take in the scenery, because Hogwarts Legacy will not be a walking simulator through beautiful landscapes. Instead, you’ll have to investigate the mystery of the ancient magic that resides within your character. You’ll also have nasty goblins and dark wizards to deal with.
As Game Director Alan Tew explains during the recently released gameplay video, you will have to make various decisions on your quests. Some of them will even decide about the lives of NPCs and the further course of the game – but hey, no pressure or anything!
Hogwarts Legacy will be released on 10 February for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Unfortunately, the release date for the Switch remains unknown.
