Guerilla has released patch 1.13 for the widely acclaimed adventure game Horizon Forbidden West. Although the developer has now fixed many issues, some bugs still prevent the game from being completed. For example, the AAA title still does not support VRR.

Since mid-February, we have been diving into the beautiful expanses of Horizon Forbidden West. The title not only inspires with its open world, the beautiful story and the gameplay. Guerilla also sets a clear example in terms of diversity and inclusion. However, some bugs still spoil the joy of the gameplay. Another point of criticism is the lack of VRR support. Yet it is precisely this feature that would not harm the massive title.

Violent games like Horizon Forbidden West can make your PlayStation sweat. All the better that PlayStation recently introduced the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) update. This feature makes it possible to play a CPU-intensive game smoothly. But although Guerilla is part of the PlayStation family, this important feature has not yet been integrated into the latest patch notes. What could be the reason for this?

As mentioned above, the VRR update has only recently been introduced. So it could be that the developers at Guerilla simply haven’t had enough time to implement the new feature in the current patch. Probably the next update will present this feature.
