VfL Osnabrück’s all-women’s team gets off to a disastrous start in the VBL CC. The devastating result after four games means a historic false start
The first four matchdays of the VBL Club Championship in FC 24 have been played and a picture is already emerging that some feared before the start of the new season. VfL Osnabrück’s all-female team cannot keep up with the quality of the rest of the roster.
With zero points from four matches played so far and a goal difference of 8:49, the first team in the history of the Virtual Bundesliga with exclusively female regular players is experiencing a historic false start – but there is also a glimmer of hope!
VBL in FC 24: Osnabrück with a historic false start
After the purple-and-whites announced back in August that they wanted to make their eSports debut under special circumstances, the VBL newcomers were certainly aware that their debut season would be a difficult one. But the extent of it could surprise even them
After defeats against 1. FC Köln, 1. FC Magdeburg, SC Paderborn and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, VfL are in last place in the North-West Division. The statistics speak an even clearer language.

The trio of Vinicia “Vinicia_brc” de Oliveira Branco, Josephine “Pullujalla” Ojih and Selin “zZz-ChiefS-zZz” Simsek is the only team that has yet to win a game. They have not even managed a draw so far. This makes the female trio the worst performers across all divisions. In addition Vinicia_brc in the duel with Paderborn’s Jamie “Chaser” Bartel recorded the highest defeat of the season (1:10).
