He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is the catchy title of the upcoming fighting game that numerous He-Man fans have been wanting for decades – at least if you believe the voices on Reddit.

What it’s all about: You control familiar characters such as He-Man, Teela, and the Weapon Master and fight your way through twelve action-packed levels in classic 90s fighting game style to defeat the supervillain Skeletor. Various weapons and powerful magic attacks will help you along the way.

With its mix of retro graphics and modern gameplay, the game could be a dream come true for children of the 80s. This statement is backed up by a glance at Reddit. There, for example, the user “they_actually_did_it” writes:they_actually_did_it“ data-mrf-link=”https://www.reddit.com/r/MastersOfTheUniverse/comments/1mupmui/they_actually_did_it“>user Gh0stwrt3rs writes: ”Yep, I’m buying this when it comes out.”

Some users even want to buy a new console just for this. For example, Bleighdzes writes: “Okay, I think I’m finally going to upgrade to a new console. I thought I was done with console gaming, but the power of Grayskull is calling my wallet again.”

This is also where user lastersoftheuniverse who wants to buy his first console since the Gamecube because of the game.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction does not yet have a release date. All that is known is that it will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
