The new Fallout series is currently on everyone’s lips. Just in time for the release, Amazon is now giving away the online spin-off Fallout 76 for free to Prime customers

Long awaited, it finally arrived three days ago: the new Fallout series. Just in time for the weekend, Amazon released the entire first season of the series adaptation of the popular role-playing game franchise in one fell swoop.

Unsurprisingly, interest in the Fallout games also increased again with the release. Without exception, all parts have seen a sharp increase in player numbers on Steam in recent days.

Bethesda and Amazon have obviously reckoned with the fact that many viewers of the series now want to explore the wasteland on their home computers and have put together a bundle for those interested in Fallout: Just in time for the series release, the mail-order company is giving you a Prime gaming program a free copy of the 2018 online role-playing game Fallout 76

In this multiplayer spin-off of the satirical role-playing game series, you explore the dangerous wilderness of the US state of West Virginia just 25 years after the Great War. As an inhabitant of the eponymous Vault 76, it is your task to investigate whether the irradiated surface is ready to be repopulated by humans.

To pick up the game, simply add it to your library by May 15 Then you can keep it even after the promotional period ends. According to Bethesda, there are even more updates planned for Fallout 76 this year. Cross-play between the versions from the Microsoft Store and Steam is possible according to Bethesda

But that’s not all. You can also get a GOG key for Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel with your Prime subscription. If you’re also interested in cloud gaming, Amazon offers the opportunity to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas for free via its own cloud service, Luna.

What else you can get for free with Prime this month, we ve summarized for you here. You’ll also find three exciting articles about Fallout, both the series and the game, in the box above.
