War Mechanic is set in a world in which World War II never ended – or at least a different one than the one we are used to. Because after the victory over Nazi Germany, the USA and the Soviet Union are now openly fighting each other in the world of War Mechanic.

Like the Fallout universe, the game uses diesel punk elements such as primitive robots;but the other technology (weapons, cars, airplanes) is still at the level of the 1940s And that’s exactly what you have to screw together, because, as the name suggests, in War Mechanic you take on the role of a mechanic.

The game is a mix of strategy, simulation, base building and explorationand doesn’t take itself too seriously. This is evident from the robots in the trailer, which look exactly like the spouting Claptrap from the popular Borderlands franchise.

A specific release date for War Mechanic does not yet exist, but the game should be released within the first quarter of 2025.
