Intel’s next graphics card is supposed to offer 24 gigabytes of video memory and appeal to professional users.

Since the middle of the month, Intel’s B580 graphics card has also been available in Germany. In Alex’s test, the card performed excellently. In addition, the card seems to be selling extremely well.

According to the Chinese industry magazine Quantum Bits but Intel should not rest on its laurels. In addition to the already announced B570 graphics card, Intel is also said to want to release a more powerful model for professional applications in 2025.

In detail:

  • The new graphics card will offer 24 gigabytes of VRAM.
  • It will be designed for use in data centers, research and development.

For comparison: The previous top model Arc B580 offers 12 gigabytes of VRAM. Nvidia’s RTX 5080 is scheduled to ship next year with 16 gigabytes. Only the RTX 5090 is supposed to offer more video memory with 32 gigabytes.

Competition for AMD and Nvidia Intel is to compete with Nvidia and AMD in the more lucrative market for professional applications with the 24-gigabyte graphics card. With 24 gigabytes of VRAM, it is expected to score points over the competition, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence and video editing.

It is unclear whether the graphics card is intended to become part of Intel’s Arc Pro series. So far, Intel offers four Intel Arc Pro graphics cards. The top model, Intel Arc Pro A 60, offers 12 gigabytes of video memory.

At the moment, there is no further information about the graphics card or a possible release date.
