New fan favourites are brewing in Pokémon Unite. The free-to-play MOBA from Nintendo and developer TiMi Studios is also set to receive the third Kanto starter after the Guardevoir update, as well as an Evoli evolution.

Multiple leaks on social media hint at new characters in Pokémon Unite. In addition to the certain appearance of Turtok, signs are growing of an Evoli evolution and the Pokémon that is notorious for its high KP display.

The leaker “Eclipse” is one of several Twitter users who has been pointing to hidden data in the game for the past few weeks. According to him, this includes Heitera and Feelinara, two safe Pokémon that will be playable in the MOBA. With the latter character, the debut of Evoli is also close, which, similar to Pikachu and Glurak, is one of the most popular Pokémon.

In addition to the playable Pokémon, numerous other names are also said to be known. These include monsters from the first generation such as Nidoking and Tauros. However, legendary Pokémon such as Arktos from the bird trio from Kanto, Jirachi from Ruby & Sapphire and Xerneas from the sixth generation X & Y are also mentioned.

Which of the pocket monsters can be controlled themselves or roam around the game as AI is currently unclear. At least for the legendary Pokémon, it seems more likely that they will be boss opponents like Zapdos.

Screenshots have surfaced for Chaneira and the further development Heitera, but their authenticity is still unconfirmed. A defensive or healer role for the egg Pokémon would be expected. This is because it is notorious for regenerating its teammates or itself and being able to take a lot of damage.

Guardevoir was released as a new playable character on a Wednesday, July 28 – a week after Pokémon Unite launched on Nintendo Switch. Accordingly, fans on Twitter are speculating that another Pokémon will be added to the MOBA line-up on a Wednesday as well.

Turtok would be an option alongside Heitera and Feelinara, as the Pokémon was announced as an upcoming character shortly after the game’s launch, along with Guardevoir. It has been known since the beta that the water starter Turtok with its pre-evolutions Schiggy and Schillok will make its way into the game.
