The internationally renowned esports organisation FaZe Clan is teaming up with the famous American Football League NFL.

The esports organisation FaZe Clan and the National Football League (NFL) have teamed up just days before the Super Bowl. A partnership between these two well-known names is anything but a big surprise, as FaZe has already cooperated with football teams such as Manchester City, among others. Likewise, the NFL has worked with gaming influencers and streamers like TimTheTatman in the past.

On Sunday, the partnership between FaZe Clan and the NFL was announced. This has the intention of bringing both the gaming world and the American football world together. For just ahead of the immediate start of Super Bowl 2022, which takes place this weekend on Sunday night, the promotion is generating the most attention.

What does the partnership involve?

The FaZe Clan will host a flag football game on February 12, featuring some of the organisation’s prominent influencers as well as some football legends in the form of Michael Vick and Brett Favre, who will serve as the team’s quarterbacks. Each team’s participation will raise US$25,000 for charity. FaZe also announced that they will be working closely with the NFL on other co-branded content and events in the future.

“Our ongoing work with the NFL is a great example of how FaZe Clan delivers content and activations that speak to the passions of our fans and talent,” said Xavier Ramos, who is Head of Marketing at FaZe Clan. “In addition to many successful collaborations in the past, there is mutual appreciation, support and organic friendship between FaZe talent and NFL players throughout the league. We greatly appreciate the NFL’s respect for the gaming community at large and look forward to continuing to help drive the cultural convergence of gaming and traditional sports. “
