The developers have not forgotten the supporters of the first hour and are giving them the promised reward in a roundabout way

Those who invested a certain amount in the Kickstarter campaign forKingdom Come: Deliverancein 2014 were supposed to receive a second act of the game. This never appeared,but developer Warhorse Studios has not forgotten the promise made back then.

Kickstarter backers get part 2 for free

Reddit user Interinactive was amazed when he received an email in his inbox telling him that hed get Kingdom Come 2for free.

The reason for this is his support in financing the first part.After a certain level, the sequel is available as a gift. The most loyal fans can choose between PC (Steam), Xbox Series X & S and PS5 as their platform.

With apost via X, formerly Twitter, Warhorse Studios officially confirmed the information from the Reddit post.

Why is Warhorse giving the game away?

They are fulfilling a promise to deliver a 2nd act of the first part free of charge to Kickstarter backers at the time. However, this was never released and the sequel is now intended to make up for this

Who gets part 2 as a present?

All supportersfrom the level Dukewill receive the game. The following levels are included:

  • Duke
  • King
  • Emperor
  • Wenceslas the Lazy
  • Pope
  • Illuminatus
  • Saint

The prices ranged from150 euros to 6,000 euros TheKickstarter pageeven reveals the exact number of lucky ones, there are a total of1,036 of the over 35,000 supporters

So if you supported Kingdom Come 1 with one of the above mentioned levels, you should check your mails. The keys for the selected platform will be sent to the Kickstarter email address at the time of release.

There is currently no exact date for the release of Kingdom Come 2, but it is known that the release is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024
