Of course, someone in Kingdom Come: Deliverance also got an arrow in the knee twice. And of course it’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to Skyrim.

Of course, there are no dragons in the historically grounded Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (except maybe their bones). Nevertheless, the game has a lot in common with Skyrim – the vibrant open world, full of stories big and small, hidden treasures, and so on.

Of course there is also a little Easter Egg in the recreated Bohemia , which put a grin on our faces and conjured up memories of Skyrim. You don’t have to worry about story spoilers here, it’s a small encounter on the Kuttenberg map.

“I knew someone like that…”

We were riding along the road to Kuttenberg when we noticed an NPC standing at the side of the road in a strange position. Half an arrow was sticking out of his skull, but that didn’t seem to bother him. Of course we approached him, and he introduced himself as Karol.
Heinrich can ask him in his typically tactful manner why on earth he has an arrow in his head and why he’s not dead. We won’t tell you exactly what the story is, because it’s the subject of a small optional quest. But as a further dialog option, Heinrich can then relate: “I knew someone once who got an arrow in the knee…”
The fact that this is really a loving reference to Skyrim has also been confirmed by the Warhorse lead writer, Daniel Vávra. You can see the NPC in question in the clip below his answer:

And we found something else that we think is an Easter Egg for Skyrim: On the first map, Trosky, there are Celtic ruins. And to us, they look very much like the Ödsturzhügelgrab in Skyrim, don’t they?!

(If you turn this rock, a dungeon full of draugrs is bound to open!)

The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance was full of references to other games. So it’s no wonder that there’s a lot hidden in the second part too. There are historical Easter Eggs too, by the way – for example, we discovered the famous horse Kluger Hans, who lived in the late 19th century.

We also already know about at least one other very cool Easter Egg: a famous Elden Ring player has been immortalized in Bohemia. See if you can find him! And feel free to tell us in the comments what you’ve discovered yourself. Of course, if necessary, with a spoiler warning for your fellow readers!
