At Summer Games Fest 2, Warhorse revealed new information about the story and gameplay of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Warhorse Studios has released a new trailer forKingdom Come: Deliverance 2at Summer Games Fest, providing exciting insights into the sequel to the acclaimed medieval role-playing game. The trailer shows both new and familiar elements that take you back to the authentic Holy Roman Empire of the 15th century.

Heinrich returns – with old enemies and new allies

The trailer shows the protagonist Heinrich, who now works as a blacksmith and has befriended a young noblemanThe trailer already hints at a close friendship, including some escapades that the two experience together

One of the most striking scenes shows debauched orgies in a bathhouse, during which Heinrich also has a passionate encounter with a woman. But it doesn’t stop at the pleasures of life

Heinrich and his aristocratic friend are punished in the marketplace: with their heads stuck in a violin of shame (a wooden object that holds their heads and hands in place), they are pelted with rotten fruit and whipped.

Another important story element of the trailer is the announcement of an upcoming siege.Markvart von Aulitz, the antagonist from the first partKingdom Come: Deliverance, is planning an attack on a castle of Henry’s allies, which could promise an epic battle.

But the gameplay is also expanded and offers new possibilities:The trailer shows sneaking and archery from horseback – two new features that make the gameplay even more versatile. Muskets and crossbows are also introduced, expanding the historical arsenal of weapons.
