Capcom is best known these days for Monster Hunter. But a long time ago, they also released a Zelda-like action adventure game called Okami. Why is this relevant? Because their latest prank Kunitsu-Gami looks like a spiritual successor to the game and looks just as impressive.
It’s based on the shinto theater called Kagura, which is used to cleanse sacred sites in Japan. And the gameplay looks the same: During the day, you move through the game world, dispelling a mysterious corruption and rescuing villagers to whom you assign tasks and skillfully place them in your village. At night, on the other hand, you have to take on numerous monsters in action-packed battles
Kunitsu-Gami is due to be released in 2024
