Gameplay: How does Life by You play?
At its core, Life by You is supposed to play like a traditional dollhouse simulation. In their Reveal Stream, developer Paradox Tectonic also announced numerous special features. We summarise the most important ones:
- Open World with lots of freedom: Your people move through the world without loading screens – on foot, by car, on a bike, scooter or skateboard. You can accompany your avatars everywhere. You can also take on the role of another character at any time.
- Real Dialogues: Storytelling is to be driven by dialogues in real language. These adapt to your people, the situations and their experiences.
- Great Mod Support: Any tools that the development team uses for Life by You shall also be made available to the players. This means you can help design everything in this life simulation yourself – houses, objects, clothing, dialogue, gameplay, the open world, vehicles and much more.
