The release date of Life is Strange: Double Exposure is getting closer and closer. To get fans excited about the upcoming release, Square Enix has released various videos for the title over the past few days. From true crime to interviews with cats, everything is included.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released for PC and consoles at the end of this month. To sweeten the countdown, Square Enix and Deck Nine are releasing a series of videos that hint at the game’s plot and gameplay features.
For example, a trailer was released two days ago that takes you back to the beginning of Max’s story and summarizes the events from Arcadia Bay. The video explains Max’s traumatic memories and the fear she has of her supernatural abilities as a result.
The cat interview released yesterday is a little more cheerful. In the almost 10-minute clip, Max’s voice actress Hannah Telle answers some questions about Life is Strange: Double Exposure. Of course, she also talks about her love for cats. The setting of the Java Whiskers Cat Cafes in London could have been chosen because the Digital Ultimate Edition of the game contains exclusive cat content. The soundtrack can also be purchased.
Last but not least, Square Enix released a summary trailer last night that was produced in a true crime format. The video summarizes the impossible murder of Max’s girlfriend Safi and suggests that there have been several deaths of this kind. The clip also deals with Max’s abilities from her youth and the new powers that the protagonist will acquire in Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
You can immerse yourself in the crime drama with a supernatural touch from October 29, when Life is Strange: Double Exposure is released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A release on the Nintendo Switch is planned for a later date.
