At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix unveiled a new trailer for Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The video gives an overview of the campus of Caledon University and its inhabitants.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is approaching its release date. To draw attention to this, Square Enix used the stage at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 to announce that Max Caulfield will be making a comeback.
The new overview trailer once again summarizes the plot of the upcoming game and also provides new insights into Caledon University and its inhabitants. Of course, the trailer focuses on Max’s new abilities, which she uses to investigate the murder of her friend Safi. We’ve already revealed how these skills work in the following news post.
The soundtrack of Life is Strange: Double Exposure
Fans of the Life is Strange series know that the games are not only known for their emotional stories, but also for their unforgettable soundtracks. With the release of Life is Strange: Double Exposure on , this tradition continues. The latest installment in the series features an impressive lineup of artists, including dodie, chloe moriondo and Matilda Mann. Their poignant melodies and powerful lyrics will accompany players on Max’s journey through two parallel timelines as she unravels the mystery surrounding her friend’s murder.
The highly anticipated soundtrack will be available digitally and on vinyl the same day as the game. The vinyl version is exclusive to the Life is Strange: Double Exposure Collector’s Box, which also includes a small hardcover art book, art cards and a replica of Max’s owl pin. Special tracks such as didie’s “Someone Was Listening”, chloe moriondo’s “September” and Tessa Rose Jackson’s “So This is Lonely” will be released as singles to build anticipation for the game and soundtrack.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on October 29 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A release for the Switch is also planned.
