What”s in Lords of the Fallen?

The spiritual successor to 2014”s Lords of the Fallen, which bears the exact same title for maximum confusion, is being developed by studio Hexworks in the Unreal Engine 5. The game takes place 1000 years after the first game, but the world has not become any happier in that time. You now have the task of overthrowing the demon god Adyr from his throne.

Since this is a Souls-like game, the path to this goal will certainly not be an easy one. In contrast to Elden Ring and co., Lords of the Fallen does without fixed save points. Instead, you can craft your checkpoints yourself.

What do you think of the new trailer for Lords of the Fallen? Are you already looking forward to the Souls-like game or would you rather plunge into the world of Elden Ring again? And how do you remember the first Lords of the Fallen from 2014? Was it a serious Dark Souls competitor in your eyes, or did you not like it at all? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
