And all players’ eyes have been on the servers since Amazon’s New World launch debacle: Will everything be stable for the release this time? We’ll keep you up to date in this article!
You can find our review of Lost Ark here:
The current status of the Lost Ark servers
- February 10, 2022, 07:45am: The servers are back online. No new servers were added during the maintenance work.
- February 10, 2022, 07:15am: Since shortly after 7am all European servers are down due to maintenance, in 30 minutes it should continue.
We will be performing scheduled maintenance on the servers today at 10pmPT/6am UTC and expect the work to take an estimated 30 minutes
- 09 February 2022, 19:22: Currently, the European servers are almost all at full capacity. The queue on the server Asta consisted of over 14,000 players. Here it can take hours until you get into the game. Only the server Sceptrum still has many free places.
- 09 February 2022, 12:11pm: The European servers are slowly filling up, the first ones are set to “busy” again. Among them also the “German” server Asta. But there are currently no long waiting times.
- 09 February 2022, 09:00 hrs: The Lost Ark servers are currently looking quite good, with Procyon and Sceptrum even two new ones have been added – which additionally eases the situation. Only on Zinnervale could there be problems due to the load. Otherwise, you should be able to play quite carefree at the moment and not have to deal with too many queues.
- 08 February 2022, 19:33: The rush on the Lost Ark servers is enormous right now. Those who are on the servers can play without any problems, but huge queues have formed on the first servers. On Asta there are currently almost 13,000 players in the queue.
- 08 Feb 2022, 7:10pm: If you are suffering from the download problem, the following workaround might help: Change the download region within Steam to a different server – in our case, switching from a German server to the Mexican one helped.
Thank you for the reports regarding game downloads timing on Steam.
Steam is aware of it and is actively looking into the issue and we will update players as soon as we have additional information.

The first servers are currently filling up and are at capacity, including the Asta server, which is popular with Germans. However, none of the servers is completely full yet, there are currently no queues.
- 08 February 2022, 18:17 hrs: Directly at the release there is another big update for Lost Ark. However, some players report that the download on Steam does not start for them and therefore they cannot get into the game.
- 08 February 2022, 18:10: The European servers open their doors for pre-orderers. Currently you can access the servers without queuing. We will keep you updated throughout the evening.
Which servers can you play on?
Nine European servers will be launched for the release. There is no dedicated German-language server, but Asta has been named the unofficial German server by several Lost Ark communities.
Here is an overview of all the servers and the communities you can find on them:
- Asta (DACH)
- Calvasus (Czech Republic, Slovakia)
- Neria (Italy)
- Trixion (France, Spain, Turkey)
