Gameplay: What is Manor Lords about?

Manor Lords is a new building game set in the Middle Ages. You take on the role of a nobleman and build a pretty little village on an extensive map and provide your subjects with food. You make sure that every inhabitant has a job and that the resources earned are used to construct new buildings. At the same time, you make sure that the farmers’ supplies do not run out, which would result in them dying of hunger or cold.

In addition to building your very pretty little villages, you also have to defend your own skin and claim other sectors of the construction map. The sectors can then trade with each other or be attacked by rivals. Battles take place in real time and are reminiscent of Total War.
