There is news about the performance of the final release of Monster Hunter Wilds.
Capcom just shared in its community update which resolutions and refresh rates the new Monster Hunter game will run at.
Why this is important: The Monster Hunter Wilds open beta had some performance issues. As a result, many players were concerned about the performance of the final version.
Now Capcom has provided information about what performance console gamers can expect. There is also good news for PC gamers.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X
Graphics priority:
- Output resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K)
- Render Resolution: 3072 x 1728 Pixels
- Upscaling: AMD FSR
- Frame Rate: 30 FPS
FPS priority:
- Output resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K)
- Render resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD)
- Upscaling: AMD FSR
- Frame rate: 60 FPS
Xbox Series S
- Output resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD)
- Render resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (native)
- Frame rate: 30 FPS
Capcom has not yet shared any information about performance on the PS5 Pro.
Technical changes for the PC version
Capcom has once again confirmed that the version that players were allowed to play in the open beta was an older one with poorer performance. The final version has better performance optimization.
- A benchmark tool will also be released so that you can test for yourself how well the game will run on your system.
- Furthermore, Capcom is working on lowering the minimum system requirements for Monster Hunter Wilds even further – but they can’t promise it yet.
