In Rogue-Lite Morbid Metal, you can switch between four characters at lightning speed, all of which have individual abilities. In the fight against hordes of enemies in partly procedurally generated levels, you have to make the tactical choice of which hero is most useful at any given moment.

Death is final and sends you back to the beginning, but you keep all the upgrades and combos you’ve unlocked up to that point, making you stronger with each playthrough. The gritty sci-fi game is being made in-house by German indie developer Felix Schade in the Unity engine.

In this gameplay trailer, he presents the graphic splendour as well as the hack&slash battles of his ambitious solo project.
