Mordhau was already released for the PC three years ago. Now it’s time to win over the other platforms as well. Developer Triternion announces that the medieval slasher will soon be released for consoles.

In 2019, Mordhau had discovered the light of day. Since then, the bloody multiplayer slasher was only available for PC. But as a new trailer announces, this state of affairs seems to be changing soon. “Soon”, gamers on PlayStation and Xbox will also be able to take part in the up to 80-player battles. However, as already indicated on (Reddit), there seems to be no cross-play feature. Each platform will therefore play on its own, even if some community members hope for crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox.

After Mordhau had a successful release on (Steam) in 2019, daily player numbers are between two and three thousand. could these numbers be due in part to members of the development team. Crush, for example, is considered incredibly toxic. But the community itself also seems to lose its nerve quickly in view of the heated battles. Whether this makes it more toxic than other games in the format, however, remains to be seen.

There is still no official release date for the console version of Mordhau. However, we will keep you posted on any news.
