The Borderlands loot-shooter franchise is expanding its repertoire. With Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, on 25 March we will enter a fantasy pen-&-paper world full of skeletons, zombie sharks and a host of new weapons. Now, in a new trailer, more classes with unique abilities have been revealed for us to dive into Tina’s Wonderlands.

What do the new classes have to offer?

With the Spellshooter and Clawbringer, you have two more classes to choose from in addition to the Killomancer and Brr-Zerker. Those who choose the Spellshooter will most likely get a classic Borderlands gameplay feel. In addition to ranged weapons, he uses numerous magic skills to attack enemies from a safe distance. Bullets, fire and ice are the magic shooters’ weapons of destruction. They can also transform particularly heavy chunks of monsters into harmless animals. The mage’s Schaff CC ability from World of Warcraft sends its regards.

The Clawbringer can perhaps best be compared to a mixture of the classic hunter and warrior classes in the world of fantasy RPGs. Equipped with a powerful hammer for devastating melee and ranged attacks, but also a loyal dragon companion, the Clawbringer is also a supporter. With fire and thunder abilities and a dragon aura, he strengthens himself as well as his team. Loyal, strong, fearless and heroic, the Clawbringer brings a big dose of “epicness” to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

In the trailer you can get an impression of the two new classes and other elements of the colourful but deadly game world for yourself.

What else is new in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

In addition, there is also a lot of new information about the varied and dangerous environment in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

  • The Sniveling Mould harbours many dangers. Many have already perished in the fumes, and even more have stumbled across the fantillions of mushrooms and tree roots that are everywhere there. The best advice one can give adventurers is to stay away from it before your face turns as purple as the mushrooms! The second best advice is probably to keep your eyes open – and your nose, mouth and every other orifice closed.
  • The Pyramid of Horrors is filled with so much despair and desolation that even the air tastes sad. Awakened skeletons, staggering undead and the emotionally dead lurk in every corridor. The few heroines who will venture into this place should be aware of what lies ahead. It would be a big mistake not to prepare for it.
  • Kropfberg is home to a bustling gobotropolis, where scrappy, nasty little goblins and giant, tyrannical trolls toil away in the name of their underground deity. But not everyone is happy with the drudgery. A little booger of revolution is slowly forming in the nostrils of labour. Time to make the most of it. And the booger.
  • The new enemies introduced are the cute-looking but mega nasty and deadly mushrooms that shoot poisonous spores at you and like to attack in huge colonies.

The co-op mode

In addition, there was information about the co-op mode that was already popular in Borderlands. In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a group of four Destiny Carriers can team up to save the kingdom. This way you play both main and side quests together. More enemies, more loot, more fun! Of course, Tina wants to make sure that the players* have an appropriate challenge in front of them, regardless of the size of the group. The more who play, the tougher the enemies. When creating a new Doombringer, players also have the choice between two options that determine how loot drops and enemies are scaled in multiplayer. This way you can always follow your own rules and set your own parameters for each game.

If you want to get in the mood for the Borderlands spin-off coming in March, we recommend the DLC for Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina’s Storming of the Dragon Fortress.
