The next part of Need for Speed has been revealed. NFS Unbound focuses on an unusual look and gameplay à la Underground.
The newest Need for Speed should have been unveiled this afternoon. However, the first screenshots of Unbound have already been leaked – and show a very unusual look for some fans of the game series.
EA apparently decided to release the official trailer of Need for Speed Unbound early. You can find it below. In the meantime there are a lot of infos about the new part of the popular racing game series.

Due to the leaks EA decided to release the trailer for the game earlier. It not only confirms the name Need for Speed Unbound, but also the unusual style with comic characters and cel-shaded optics:
The new NfS – what is already known?
When will Need for Speed Unbound be released? The trailer reveals the planned release date. NFS Unbound will be released on 2 December 2022, just in time for the Christmas season. Those who have subscribed to EA Play can start playing from 29 November.
For which platforms is the game coming? NFS Unbound will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Last-gen consoles will not get a go.
How does Need for Speed Unbound play? Real gameplay can only be seen briefly in the trailer, but the (official website) already reveals more about the new Need for Speed.
- The open-world map of Lakeshore City can already be viewed as an interactive (Map) . It consists of a city and much surrounding land with winding roads.
- The theme is Street Racing, which also includes many tuning options. You are also supposed to tussle with the police. Unbound is thus reminiscent of Need for Speed Underground, and not just in terms of the sound of the words. The chases are supposed to require tactical decisions
