The new project Phantom Blade Zero from S-Game is an action role-playing game with a kung fu punk look that at first glance is reminiscent of a mixture of Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and Chinese martial arts.
In the game, you take on the role of the elite assassin Soul, who is framed for the murder of a powerful leader of the Order. You only have 66 days to find the real murderer – then your own life will run out.
The setting of Phantom Blade Zero takes place in a dark, mystical China with steampunk and supernatural elements. The developers reflect this mood in their new trailer, which S-Game has released as a special for the new Year of the Dragon. After an epic sword fight between “rain and blood”, the video contains some new gameplay and an announcement of a first official demo for the game
What first appeared exclusively for China as a mobile game series is now to be made available for several platforms worldwide: Phantom Blade Zero is the first installment in the series, which will be available in 2024 for PC (via Steam and GOG) and the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. It remains to be seen when the demo will be launched
