The announcement trailer for Active Matter takes you into a dark, multiversal world where the boundaries of space and time blur – and could easily have come from the pen of Christopher Nolan.

You take on the role of agents trapped in a time loop and forced to hold their own in “quantum unstable zones”. The trailer shows intense firefights against rival operators from alternative timelines, as well as encounters with physically impossible anomalies and mysterious creatures.

The realistic weapons and equipment are inspired by real military technology and are reminiscent of dark shooters like Stalker. A release is planned for 2025, but you can already add the freshly announced shooter to your Steam wishlist
