The new Nintendo Direct presentation has revealed numerous games that will be released for Nintendo Switch later this year and beyond. Mario fans will get their money’s worth with two new titles
Mario & Luigi: Brothership
In “Mario & Luigi: Brothership”, the brothers embark on a new adventure. They travel to Kapitarbora, a mixture of island and ship, to explore the world of Konektania. Players experience tropical rainforests and lively cities, meet old acquaintances such as Peach and Bowser as well as new friends. The aim is to strengthen the Brotherhood, overcome obstacles and win in turn-based battles. The game will be released on November 7 for Nintendo Switch.
Super Mario Party Jamboree
“Super Mario Party Jamboree” invites you to the biggest Mario Party yet from October 17th The game takes place on a huge island resort and offers over 110 mini-games, more than ever before in a Mario Party game. Players can play on seven different game boards, including the Gumba Lagoon and the Rainbow Shopping Palace. A highlight is the Bowserathlon, an online competition for 20 players. The aim here is to collect the most points in mini-games such as the Glider Gold Rush.
The mini-games with motion control require a Joy-Con controller and are not available in online mode. They are also not compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite or the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, but mini-games with button controls can be played on these consoles.
