The highlights of the week
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
(Genre: Soulslike – Developer: Team Ninja – Release: March 3, 2023 (get the game on Steam))
)
One year after the release of Elden Ring, the next big Soulslike awaits you: In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty from Nioh developers Team Ninja, you”ll once again be transported to the Far East – this time to ancient China during the Han Dynasty.
The Three Kingdoms are overrun by demons and you have to make peace as a mercenary with sword and magic. Like its two indirect predecessors, Wo Long should again be incredibly difficult and the perfect snack for all Soulslike fans who are currently waiting for the announcement of the first Elden Ring DLC.
Whether the game will be as good as the two Nioh games, you will find out on Thursday in our review of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Scars Above
Genre: Third-person shooter – Developer: Mad Head Games – Release: Feb 28, 2023 (get the game on Steam)
Just like in the shooter masterpiece Returnal, in Scars Above you play a female astronaut and scientist stranded on an extremely hostile alien planet.
On the search for your team, you can expect many fights in which you have to shoot, hit and dodge well-timed – and of course some opulently staged boss fights are waiting for you to master them.
