An insane week on Steam is coming up: three hotly anticipated new releases are just waiting to break player records.

The coming week promises to be a real highlight for you, because several hotly anticipated releases are in the starting blocks – and they are all among the most-wanted games on Steam.

So let’s not waste any time and see what potential blockbuster new releases are in store for you on Steam in the next few days.

Path of Exile 2

(Genre: Action-RPG – Developer: Grinding Gear Games – Release: December 6 (Steam / Early Access)

Path of Exile 2 takes place in the grim world of Wraeclast, which after twenty years of peace is once again threatened by a dark force. The power-hungry Earl of Ogham seeks to control the Seed of Corruption, unleashing monsters, the undead, and chaos.

So you must face this danger, track down the source of the evil and save Wraeclast from ultimate ruin. On your way, you will meet all sorts of mysterious characters, discover long-forgotten civilizations and fight countless bosses.

In terms of gameplay, PoE2 takes a completely different direction from its predecessor: Although its Action-RPG roots are still clearly visible, the gameplay feels noticeably more “souls-like”. Instead of using one-button builds to plough through hundreds of enemies in seconds, you have to approach battles much more methodically.

Marvel Rivals

(Genre: online shooters – Developer: Netease – Release: December 6 (Steam)

Marvel Rivals; is a 6v6 third-person shooter in the style of Overwatch, in which you compete against each other as iconic Marvel heroes and villains. Each character has unique abilities that you are guaranteed to recognize from comics, cartoons, and movies.

The game is based on a Free2Play model, but according to developer Netease, all upcoming heroes should be playable for free and microtransactions should only be cosmetic. We’ll find out by Friday at the latest when the game is released whether this is the case.

Delta Force

(Genre: Online Shooter – Developer: Team Jade – Release: December 5 (Steam)

Delta Force returns as a tactical multiplayer shooter with large-scale battles, reminiscent of the epic battles of Battlefield. In Havoc Warfare mode, you fight with up to 64 players simultaneously on land, sea, and in the air, supported by controllable vehicles such as tanks and helicopters.

The Hazard Operations mode, on the other hand, brings an Escape from Tarkov feeling by having you collect loot and extract it safely. A single-player campaign based on the Black Hawk Down campaign from the sixth installment of the series will follow later.
